Health Benefits from Drinking Coffee are Very Real

While on the web today I decided to look up the health benefits of drinking coffee. From what I can gather, the benefits derived from coffee consumption are very real. Studies show that drinking moderate amounts of coffee can help protect you from such diseases as colon cancer, Parkinson's and others. Interestingly, decaffeinated coffee has similar benefits, as does drinking tea.

According to one study, 60 per cent of Americans derive their antioxidants mainly from drinking coffee. (Antioxidants are an important element in fighting cancer).

No studies to date have managed to distinguish between the various health benefits of coffee relative to their different manufacturing conditions. In other words, health studies in general are not making any distinctions between coffee grown in various regions of the world or whether or not they use modern mass production methods.
