Dallas Company Promises to End Age-Old Coffee Problem

Received an email recently from a company called Visimark Inc. In their press release, the company announced the launch of a new product that purports to end what Visimark CEO and developer Barry Carothers says has been plaguing coffee lovers for the last 550 years: A problem that the company refers to as "coffee teeth."

Ever since coffee has been in existence, coffee has been staining teeth, according to Carothers. Every sip of coffee chemically connects the dark brown coloured molecules of roasted coffee directly to the white enamel of one's teeth, turning the teeth to a yellowish colour.

Now, for the first time, there is an answer, according to the press release. Visimark has developed a new product specifically designed to stop the coloured particles from staining teeth, a consumable product that can be added directly to the coffee. Developed during four years of "intensive research," the product in question, known as WhiteShield, gently whitens teeth and protects the teeth from further discolouration.

According to the press release, WhiteShield uses only natural ingredients found in ordinary foods. Using the product means that consumers can still enjoy their favorite beverage and have a whiter smile at the same time.

Industry response has been tremendous, according to Carothers. Whiteshield was one of the most talked about  products in Seattle's Coffee Exchange held in September. Currently offered to consumers through direct channels, future distribution plans include offering the product in coffee boutiques and stores.

Visimark Technologies was founded in 2007 in Dallas, Texas. According to the company's press release, Visimark Technologies has assembled a top level management team who have experience in consumer package goods from such companies as Proctor & Gamble, Warner Lambert, Pfizer and Dr. Pepper.
